Born and raised in Trondheim. Studied sociology and social anthropology at NTNU(Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and attended tour manager school inMallorca (Ving Travels) in 1985. Worked as a tour manager for Ving Travels for 5 years.Has for 10 years been a cruise ship agent in Trondheim, including organizing on-shore sightseeing trips. Has had different tour manager assignments for Panorama Travel. Has been teaching the subjects of tourism, tour guiding and toursim geography at a private high school. Was the office manager for the Trondheim 2018 Olympics application committee, and has since 2007 been working as PCO (professional conference organizer) at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science andTechnology).
Has since 1995 been actively involved in the running of the Trondheim Guide Association and was member of the board of the Trondheim Cruise Network for three years. NGA-authorized Trondheim guide since 1994.
Raised in Lade in Trondheim. Studied German in Germany and French in France, and has a diploma in German and French from the Norwegian School of Economics. Many years of experience from the tourism industry, such as reception manager at the Britannia Hotel and tour manager and purser at Hurtigruten (The Coastal Express). Well versed in the art of facilitation and execution of different types of activities and tours. Also many years of experience in business administration in international corporations.
Gratuated as an NGA-authorized guide in March 2004. Has participated actively in the running of local guide associations and the Norwegian Guide Association. Presently a member of the board of Trondheim Guide.
Born and raised in Trondheim. Studied music in Vienna, Austria, and lived there for 5years. Speaks German with a Viennese accent. Loves all things British and is very fond of English litterature. Studied special ed and school development in Norway and has been teaching in Trondheim for over 30 years. Graduated as an authorized Trondheim guide in 1994.
Chaired the Norwegian Guide Association from 2008 to 2012.
Has tour manager experience from Hurtigruren (The Coastal Express), has been teaching new tour guides and give lectures on tour guide technique. She has also created over 300 radio programmes about the history of Trondheim with NRK-reporter Tom Erik Sørensen, and has written five books on the subject.
Raised in Trondheim. I have a degree in geography and economics from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and Trondheim Business School.
I have many years of experience from positions within different cultural institutons: theTrondheim Symphonic Orchestra, the St. Olaf Festival, the Ringve Museum of musical history and the Sverresborg Trøndelag Folk Museum.
I have for several years worked in event management, and I am today employed as an event manager and communications advisor.
Graduated as a NGA-authorized Trondheim guide in 2009.
Born and raised in Heimdal, Trondheim. Has her daily gig as the Chief Financial Officer at Backe Trondheim, and has an educational background in economics, languages and marketing from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), France and England. Is a self-confessed Francophile and Anglophile, something that serves her well in tour guiding and quizes. Has also had several tour manager assignments in France and Italy.
From 1999 to 2008, she was involved in the running of the Trondheim Guide Association and the Norwegian Guide Association, and has been an NGA-authorized Trondheim guide since 1996.
